NYSPTA Fall Conference & Expo a Huge Success!

Highest conference attendance since 2013, record sponsorship, great networking, a Rock of All Ages dinner that will never be forgotten, beautiful location, and a diverse educational program that received rave reviews. We thank all that came out to support the event and visit our Facebook and Twitter pages for pictures.

Also, pleased to announce the 2020-21 board elections of Shawn Brown from the Town of North Hempstead and Lex Blum from ParkMobile as well as the re-election of Jim Zullo from TimHaahs.

And join us in NYC at Pace University as NYSPTA returns for the 4th time on March 18th.

NYSPTA Welcomes You to Saratoga

Greetings to all our NYSPTA Friends,

We very much look forward to seeing you this week. We have a wonderful program planned filled with fun, food, first-rate educational sessions, and wonderful exhibitor offerings. Also, be sure to download the Whova conference app and for social media use the hashtag #NYSPTA2019.

For those in town on Tuesday night, 10/8 we will be meeting at 7p for a complimentary drink and light fare at Druthers, just a 5 minute walk down historic Broadway from the hotel. And don’t forget your favorite concert wear for our Rock of “ALL” Ages themed dinner on Wednesday night, 10/9.

As you complete the final leg of your journey enjoying the fall foliage on Interstate 87 please do yourself a favor and take exit 14 (Route 9P west-Union Avenue). You will past historic Saratoga Race Course, Victorian era homes, beautiful landscapes, Congress Park, and you may even see a horse or two! This is truly the best gateway to Saratoga and it will not cost you anything: not time, not money, nothing!

In the mid-20th century great sportswriter Red Smith was quoted on Saratoga: “From New York City you drive north for about 175 miles, turn left on Union Avenue, and go back 100 years”.

Safe travels everyone and welcome to my hometown! Jason
